The harsh marine environment is not kind to under-maintained mooring systems. This section will guide you in maintaining a mooring ball that works perfectly, every time.
A good rule of thumb is that the entire mooring system should be checked once per year. These maintenance tasks can be completed by you or by another company. Many companies who sell mooring systems also will provide scheduled maintenance as part of a warranty package or for an additional fee.
Sizing and costs depend on the cost of shackles and new chains. The anchor is generally very durable.
